You want your man to feel loved?

Find a YouTube video about something he's obsessed with, like his football team, or a videogame like Halo, or Warhammer 40k, that probably means nothing to you. Watch it. Learn something. Then ask him questions about it.

You want your man to feel loved?: Jan-Willem's wife with their daughter

Most women have no idea what that actually does to a man.

I was early into dating my wife. Sitting on the bed reading a fantasy novel. She asked what I was reading. I said "some book with magic and stuff, nothing important" and went back to it. Because that's what I'd learned to do. Shrink the things I love because she is not interested.

My wife didn't do that. She asked what it was about. Why I liked it. What my favourite part was.

I don't remember what I answered. I started crying. And she had no idea why.

Here's why. Every woman before her had either ignored it, subtly judged it, or used the moment to pull attention back to herself.

They just weren't curious about me.

It was just genuine interest.

And it hit me somewhere I didn't know was empty.

That was the moment I decided to keep her.

Fair warning though:

Do this too often and you'll find a ring on your finger before you've worked out how it got there.
