Most of the men you're meeting right now aren't ready for what you want
That's not a judgement on you. It's just math.

The emotionally available man who can hold tension and won't need you to mother him or manage his moods exists. But he's not flooding the dating pool. He's selective. He's intentional. He doesn't swipe to fill a void.
So you're sorting through a lot of maybe and almost and not quite.
A client told me last week she went on three dates with a guy who seemed solid. Good job, kind, talked about wanting a family. Then she mentioned she was traveling for work and he went cold for four days. No explanation. Just disappeared until he felt like showing up again.
She asked me if she was expecting too much.
No.
You're just meeting men who talk the language of commitment but haven't done the work to actually be committed.
The gap between what a man says he wants and what he's capable of holding is where most women get stuck. You see the potential. You feel the chemistry. You want to believe the version he's selling.
But potential doesn't keep you warm. And chemistry without reliability is just a slow burn toward disappointment.
The man you're looking for doesn't make you guess. He doesn't need three business days to respond when something real comes up. He doesn't perform emotional availability. He just is it.
And the only way to find him is to stop settling for the audition. Walk when the actions don't match. Just as clarity.
He's out there.
But you won't see him if you're still giving your time to men who aren't.
