A woman shared with me that the man she was with wasn’t meeting her needs

She had put everything into him. She gave him care, love and patience. She bought him books and sent him podcasts on communication. Got therapy and coaching and the works. She spent her time and her money trying to help him love her the way she needed.

A woman shared with me that the man she was with wasn’t meeting her needs: When he is not meeting your needs. Jan-Willem van der Heiden, relationship coach

That’s how she loves. She gives everything.

I asked her about him and what their love was like. Then I told her the truth.

I said I completely understood why she loved him. But if she was honest with herself, she didn’t like him. And no matter how much more she poured into him, it was never going to work.

Then I told her I couldn’t take her on as a client. There was nothing I could do to save that relationship, and I wasn’t going to take her money pretending otherwise.

She ended it.

Then I got a message 6 months later. She met a man who already had everything she had been trying to build in the last one. He didn’t need to read the books. Or listen to podcasts on how to have a woman, her, feel seen, loved and understood. And plus, the love and care she gives him is celebrated.

She sent me a message thanking me it was the best coaching session she had ever had.

It was a free discovery call.
