Outside of the West, in so many parts of the world still today, survival is real. It’s daily.

And men still handle the things that are physically dangerous, high-risk, or require strength and protection.

Men are the ones climbing unstable roofs.

Men are the ones lifting heavy loads all day.

Men are the ones facing physical danger on roads, farms, construction sites.

Men are the ones fixing things that break, clearing debris, carrying gas tanks, dealing with strangers at night, walking ahead to make sure a path is safe.

In a lot of countries, this isn’t some outdated gender norm. It’s reality.

And because of that, women naturally get to lean back. There’s a built-in trust. A built-in respect. They see, every week, multiple times, how men show up in ways that keep life safer for them.

But in many Western environments, those opportunities barely exist anymore.

Everything is automated.

Everything is delivered.

Everything is specialised.

Everything is digital.

There are fewer moments where a woman actually gets to feel a man’s competence.

Fewer situations where she experiences, in her body, “He’s got this. I’m safe.”

Fewer chances for him to step up, lead, handle something difficult, solve a physical problem, protect, carry, fix.

And when those moments disappear, so does one of the natural ways respect is formed in a relationship.

Because human biology still responds to competence, leadership, and steadiness.

A man who regularly shows up in tangible ways makes it easier for a woman to soften.

And when a woman softens, it brings out even more strength, clarity, and direction in him.

That polarity builds itself when life naturally provides the opportunities.

But in today’s world, men have to create these moments.

They have to go first.

They have to look for ways to show up physically, emotionally, and practically, because modern life won’t hand them those opportunities the way it used to.

Take small things:

Fixing something before she asks.

Handling a stressful situation so she can relax.

Taking initiative with plans.

Taking responsibility without being told.

Freaking holding the door open.

Paying for dinner.

When men don’t have these moments, they feel less needed.

When women don’t experience these moments, they feel less safe.

And when neither happens, there is no attraction.

So men, find those invitations and challenges and step up.

You’ll find your woman, and women in general give you a look that ignited a fire inside you to keep doing that over and over again.
