To the men
Do not sleep with a woman who wants commitment when you don’t want that. Not when you’re unsure. Not when you’re keeping your options open. Not when you can’t look at her and honestly say she could be your wife, the mother of your children.
You will hurt her. Full stop.
And I know it’s easier not to think about that in the moment. But she is operating from a completely different set of hopes than you are. That gap is harmful.
There are plenty of women who want exactly what you want right now. Casual. No strings. Both people clear on what it is.
Find those women.
Stop taking what you want from someone who is quietly hoping you’ll choose her.
Be honest about where you’re at. It costs you almost nothing. It saves her a lot.
