I’ll never forget a conversation I once had with a mentor of mine.
I’ll never forget a conversation I once had with a mentor of mine.
He looked at me and said, “If you want an idea to come alive, put it in the mind of a woman who loves you.”
At the time, I didn’t get it. I thought it was just a poetic way of saying women are supportive. But now, I finally understood what he meant.
A woman who truly loves you doesn’t just listen to your ideas. She believes in them before you do. She takes the seed of your vision and waters it with her energy. She amplifies it with her faith. She holds it with you when you’re too tired to hold it yourself.
And she breathes life into it in a way you can’t, because she sees not only what you want to create but also the man you are becoming in the process.
I’m living this. There were plenty times I was ready to give up, on business, on projects, on ideas, on what’s possible for us, on myself. Times I told myself the dream was too big, or I wasn’t capable.
And in those moments, she simply looked at me in a way that reminded me of who I am when I had forgotten.
That’s the power of feminine energy. It transforms. It amplifies. It takes what’s abstract and breathes soul into it. It’s the difference between an idea dying on paper and becoming something real in the world.
And life for us has never been better.
The curse and the gift of a woman is that she doesn’t let you play small. It’s up to you whether you see it as a curse or a gift.
She won’t let you shrink into comfort or excuses. She’ll challenge you when you’re distracted, encourage you when you’re tired, and celebrate you when you finally bring it to life. And if you’re wise enough to recognize that, you’ll see how nourishing that is.
If you have a woman like that in your life, respect her, listen to her, appreciate her.
Because what she’s giving you isn’t just love.
It’s the fuel that can turn your vision into reality.
It seems to be working for us
