What if finding your person is a numbers game?
Imagine you knew for a fact that you’ll meet your forever partner. The one who gets you, chooses you and stays. But it’s going to be date number 37.

Would you go on the 36 dates before it?
Would you sit through the awkward coffee, the man who talks about his ex for an hour, and the one who seemed perfect and then disappeared? Would you go through the hope, the disappointment and the “why does this keep happening to me” 36 times?
Most women I work with would say yes in a heartbeat. If they knew how the story ends, every bad date would feel completely different.
They’d stop taking it personally. They’d stop asking what’s wrong with them. They’d treat every date as practice: learning what they want, getting clearer on what they won’t accept, and becoming more themselves each time.
Here’s the thing. That is how it works. You just don’t get to know the number in advance.
Date 12 isn’t a failure. It’s date 12. It teaches you something date 37 needs you to know.
When I met my wife, I had been on lots of incredible dates with amazing women. They were amazing because I appreciated everything they brought because I got to learn something about myself. Every one of them taught me something I needed in order to recognise her when she arrived.
What number are you on?
