How much does a relationship coach cost?
Prices for relationship coaching vary a lot. Here is what drives the cost, what you get for it, and how to start without a big commitment.

It is 1 of the first questions people ask, and a fair one. Relationship coaching is an investment, and you want to know what you are getting.
The short answer: it depends on the format. A self-guided programme costs far less than private coaching, and private coaching with an experienced coach costs more than a group.
What affects the price
- Format. Private sessions cost more than group calls or a self-guided programme.
- Experience. A coach with years of results usually charges more than someone starting out.
- Length. Some coaches sell single sessions. Others, like me, work over a set period with a clear goal.
- Support between sessions. Practices and materials between calls add value, and usually add cost.
Single sessions versus a programme
Single sessions feel cheaper, but they often cost more in the end. Change in a relationship comes from repeating small things over weeks. 1 session gives you insight. A programme gives you a new habit.
My options
I keep it simple, with 3 levels. You will find the current price on each page.
- The 30 Day Challenge. 15 minutes a day each, separate guidance for each partner, a free call with me at the end, and a money back guarantee.
- The New Us. 12 weeks online for couples, with a separate track for each of you and live group coaching calls.
- Private coaching, couples or 1:1, with me personally. We talk about the investment on the free discovery call, once we know what you need.
For single women there is Magnetize, with a free ebook to start with.
Is it worth it?
Compare it with what the problem costs you now. The weekends lost to a fight. The evenings on separate screens. The tension your children feel. And for some couples, the cost of a separation.
Most couples I work with tell me the first change they notice is the mood at home. That is hard to put a price on.
I wrote more about this in is couples coaching worth it.
How to keep the cost down
- Start with something small and see if it helps.
- Do the practices between sessions. That is where the value is.
- Choose a coach who gives you tools you keep after you finish.
- If money is tight, start with the free relationship quiz and The Ten Secrets ebook.
What you are paying for
When you hire a relationship coach, you are not paying for an hour of talking. You are paying for 3 things.
- Experience. A coach who has seen hundreds of couples recognises your pattern quickly, which saves you months.
- Structure. A clear plan for what you do each week, so change does not depend on motivation.
- Accountability. Someone who notices when you slide back, and helps you start again.
That is why a good coach often costs less in the end than trying alone for years.
Questions to ask about price
- What exactly is included? Sessions, materials, support between calls?
- How long do people usually work with you?
- What happens if we need a break, or if life gets in the way?
- Is there a guarantee, or a way to start small?
A good coach answers these clearly. If the price is hard to get, or changes on the call, be careful.
Couples coaching versus individual coaching
Couples coaching and 1:1 coaching often cost about the same per session. The difference is in what you get. Couples coaching works on both sides of the pattern at once. 1:1 coaching goes deeper into your side. Many people start with 1:1 coaching and bring their partner in later.
The cost of waiting
Most couples I meet waited too long. They hoped it would pass. By the time they reach out, small hurts have turned into resentment, which takes longer to clear. Starting earlier is usually cheaper, in every sense.
Which option fits you?
- You want to try something on your own first: the free relationship quiz and The Ten Secrets ebook.
- You both want to do something small every day: The 30 Day Challenge.
- You want a full programme with live support: The New Us.
- You want personal support from me: private coaching.
Questions people ask
Does health insurance cover relationship coaching?
Usually not. Coaching is not a medical treatment. Some therapy is covered, so check with your insurer if you need therapy.
Is online coaching cheaper than in person?
Often, because there is no office or travel. The quality depends on the coach, not the format.
What if it does not work for us?
The 30 Day Challenge has a money back guarantee. For private coaching, we agree on the discovery call what done looks like, so we both know what we are working towards.
